The Ministry

1. REVIVAL ARMY: THE ADVENTURES AND THE
TRAILS (2004 – 2023)

Revival Army is a mandate from God thrusted to kindle the re of Revival in the hearts of men. To raise prophetic revival vessels who will boldly advance the revival Gospel spread over the nations of the earth; by dismantling and confounding Satanic strongholds and establishing the kingdom God.

God’s servant, Dr. Deborah Macfoy Akachukwu, a vessel completely yielded to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was commissioned to lead this assignment in 2004. Before now, she had witnessed the strong hand of the Lord placed on her which led her into deeper searching and longing for more of God. She spent most of her time studying the Bible and praying which led to the winding up of her 3 most successful business in pursuit after God and her destiny.

2. THE WORD INTERNATIONAL NETWORK (WIN)

Dr. Deborah gathered some women to seek God and personal spiritual development through Bible study. This led to the inauguration of Word Women Network in July 21, 2004, with the theme: “Back to the Bible” They met every month to study the word of God and pray. This team progressed and after a while, the Lord changed the theme from “Back to the Bible” to “Tent meeting for God’s seekers” – Matthew 6:33. The aftermath was massive evangelism by the women to prison, airport, hospitals, orphanages, homes for the elderly and homes for people living with disabilities in fulfillment of the scripture in Matthew 25:35-46.

In the year 2005, the theme changed to the ” The quest for perfection”; a season of higher spiritual growth and reawakening. As they continued to study and pray, God gave Her the vision of taking the Inspired Word of God into homes and cities across the nations of Africa. This led to The Word International Network (WIN) which diversified into “WIN Africa satellite Television service” and “Inspired WordSeries”. The Inspired Word Series was a daily study of the Bible which was presented by Dr. Deborah and transmitted on Enugu state television. The satellite TV was meant to raise a prophetic voice for Africa where men and women with the end time mandate could propagate God’s agenda for the nations. This later project could not fully take off as the team began to face series of challenges. They retreated to pray in order to and full clarity and blue print of operation.

3. PAIN TO PURPOSE CONFERENCE

In 2007, this formidable team of God’s seekers started a daily morning devotion under a tree in a garden within the premise of the vision bearer’s abandoned factory. While an altar was raised and by divine revelation, God gave the team a name: “The Trumpeters”. This was followed by the birthing of an annual conference that God branded ‘Pain to Purpose’: Every Woman’s Dream Conference. Pain to Purpose is a meeting where the broken hearted, wounded souls and betrayed lives are assembled by God for healing and restoration. It hosted hundreds of women who were trained to come out of their ugly past and embrace a bright future. It encompassed spiritual, psychological, financial and skill acquisition trainings. The first edition happened in July 2007 and has hosted 14 editions so far. Through this vision, God has brought many to the faith, restored lost visions, directions and destinies.

4. THE WIN BIBLE CLUB

While the women were basking in the euphoria of God’s limitless compassion for the broken hearted, God visited them with the burden for the younger generation. He demanded that they use education and biblical teachings as a tool for transforming them. This gave birth to the WIN BIBLE CLUB geared towards raising a godly generation of children and youth in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation who will demonstrate excellent spirit after the order of Daniel, Joseph, Esther, and Mary. The first meeting took place in August 1, 2007 at 114 Zik’s Avenue, Uwani Enugu and hosted 250 children. Many gave their lives to Christ, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, spoke in diverse tongues and prophesied. The second edition needed bigger space which was graciously given by the host pastors of Baptist Church Uwani, Enugu in 2008. The programme became an annual August meeting taking place in over 16 centers simultaneously in all the local govts in Enugu with over 20,000 children in attendance. God has through these programmes saved many children from pornography, sexual immorality, masturbation, cultism, drug abuse etcetera. In 2011, while the children and youth program was going on, God called for a three-day revival summit. Through this summit, an unusual Revival fire was released which has continued to burn till date. As God’s servant continued to labour with the trumpeters, the ministry continued to evolve and hosted major meetings including ‘Open Heaven’; ‘Flames of Revival’; ‘Holy Ghost Fire Night’ and ‘Coal City Revival’.

The Word international network (WIN) BIBLE CLUB has continued from 2004 till 2019 when the COVID strike led to a temporal halt of group Bible Studies.

5. THE FLAME KEEPERS AND TUESDAY REVIVAL
MEETING

The season of revival for women started in February 23rd and spanned through March 23rd, 2013.There was a deep desire in the hearts of the participants to keep burning the flames of revival ignited in the course of the meetings. This gave birth to the “Flame Keepers”. The Flame keepers was inaugurated on the 23rd of March 2013 with the main task of sustaining the Revival flame through diligent study of the Word of God, steadfast and continuous intercession that translates into practical exemplary Christian lifestyle (Leviticus 6:12-13). The flame keepers mandate metamorphosed into a weekly Tuesday Tent meeting now Tuesday Revival and healing Meeting. Glory to God!

6. REVIVAL CITY

Towards the end of 2013, God led His servant, Deborah Akachukwu to acquire a land on a hilly terrain at Iva Valley, Enugu. This land notably was a host for wild animals including pythons and other dangerous beasts, a hub for hoodlums and was regarded as an ancestral ground for the hosts community. The land location was hidden and unmapped, covered with darkness even in the day time, filled with ancient horrifying trees and thick forest and totally alien to any form of civilization. It took only divine courage and complete obedience to God to venture into such place. While she proceeded and bought the land, the purpose of the new site was very clear; to build a place for the ministry programs and activities; a camp for raising God’s end time Revivalist (which is the REVIVAL ARMY) and a retreat centre where believers can come for personal and corporate encounter with God which will translate to revival in homes, churches and the entire land. Having secured the land, it was now time to break camp and advance into the new place. But who is willing to go? No one could muster courage to join the vision bearer into this dreadful place. However, she proceeded to tarry 3days and 3night alone in prayer on the new site. She witnessed evil operations of men and spirits in that area both day and night but she found refuge in the word of the Lord that says “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. After that land breaking retreat, the team was able to follow her into the place.

On the 14th of December, 2013, the ministry held her first meeting at this new site now named Revival City International Prayer Retreat and Conference Centre, located at Ukwunna Estate, opposite Kopex Quarters, Iva valley Road, Enugu. By the 14th of January 2014, the site was cleared and ready to host all ministry activities for the year. Programs began in earnest thenceforth under a tent. Tuesday Revival Meeting was very remarkable. People came from every corner of the state and beyond to hear Gods word and pray. The Lord was present and confirmed his words with deliverance, breakthroughs, healings and the outpour of the Holy Ghost.

By the 17th of February, 2014, the foundations for the conference hall, security buildings and the toilets were laid. The foundation for the chapel of intercession was laid on the 6th of March, 2014; closely followed by the hosting of a convention on the 14th March, captioned: ‘Cloud of Glory.

7. THE ISSACHAR MANDATE

In 2014, there was yet another clarion call to bring the revival are into the campuses. This is to bring about the word of the Lord which says “And it shall come to pass that I will pour out My spirit on all flesh, your sons and daughters shall prophecy…. your young men shall see vision….” (Joel 2:28). This gave birth to ‘The Issachar Mandate’ – a campus revival movement that cut across various tertiary institutions within and outside the shores of Enugu state. The first edition was held from the 20th-21st June, 2014. Students came from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State University of Science and Technology Enugu, Institute of Management and Technology Enugu, Enugu State College of Education Enugu, Federal Dental Technology, University of Benin, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Federal University of Technology Owerri and Imo State University. They contacted the Revival fire and went back to their various campuses to spread it. To God be the glory!

8. THE REVIVAL ARMY

As the ministry went forward with the emergence of many arms, it became necessary to gather each unit under a band. On the 1st of September 2015, the REVIVAL ARMY was formally inaugurated. The Revival Army consists of all the troops of the ministry which includes: The Trumpeters, Elders at the gate (Intercessors strategically positioned to watch the air space at the airport), Flame keepers, Issachar Mandate, Anna’s Company (the widow’s arm of the ministry), and Win Bible Club. These arms were birthed by prayer and they have been used by God to birth critical seasons for the ministry at one time or the other.

9. THE PRAYER CAMP

On the 3rd October, 2015, God led his servant – Dr. Deborah to take the topmost part of the mountain and establish it. It was all battles. The strongman that occupied the top mountain for years and refused to quit was finally subdued and evicted by the Lord of Host. A meeting tagged ‘Rivers of Revival’ was used by God to open the spiritual gates of the mountain top which is named “The Prayer Camp”. The prayer camp was inaugurated as Dr. Deborah led ministers of the gospel within and outside the country to pray and dedicate the place to God. Prayer Altars were raised and dedicated. Today individuals, families, groups, churches and ministries come to the prayer camp to pray and they come down with proofs of Gods visitation. Whereas the prayer zone (known as the loud zone) is on the left side of the mountain top, the Bible study zone (quiet zone) is at the right side. Pilgrims use the bible study zone for deep study and meditation on the word of God without distractions. On the mountain top is also situated the Chapel of intercession, the House of prayer, the Revival War institute class room and administrative office, the Minister’s resource centre and Library. Within two years of coming into the mountain, the Lord used His daughter and her team to exercise His dominion over the territory. Spiritual light came into the whole land and some level of civilization began. All Glory to the name of the Lord, Amen

10. ALTAR OF WORSHIP

In 2016 God led Dr. Deborah to host a four-month marathon prayer and bible study meeting. It was tagged 2880 Hours Torrential Rain. It spanned from 1st August 2016 through 28th November 2016. The burden was for the outpour of revival on the nations, the city and the people. 3pm-4pm prayer watch was daily dedicated for revival in the churches. This meeting brought a major shift in nations, the city opened up, churches began to pray earnestly and the ministry shifted too. This gave birth to a program called “Altar of Worship”. Altar of Worship is a monthly all night worship meeting that brings worship ministers from across the nation. It runs every first Friday of the month till date.

11. THE PRAYER CELLS

The journey continued! This is because the path of the just is like the shinning sun that shines ever brighter until the perfect day. In 2018 another major shift took place for the ministry. It started on 23rd of February 2018, when God showed his servant a vision of pythons spread over the heavens and on the trees on the mountain. War broke out in that vision. It was a serious combat between the angels and the marine powers. It was so fierce that a voice from heaven said “Take her out of the battle”. While she was lifted from the battle, she could hear the clattering sounds of their swords. God lead her to anchor 9days and 9nights of Sustained fire. It took off on the 6th of April to 14th of April 2018. Gods servants came in from within and outside the country to pray and establish the rule and dominion of God in the territory. Some of them includes: Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba, Bishop Sosthenes Eze, Dr. Stella Emmanuel (USA), Evang Gboyega Shitta (UK), Rev and Mrs. Bako, Apst. and Mrs. Oyechi Daniel and others. On the 9th day when the meeting should have ended, the Lord extended it to 150 days of prayer and study of the word. The prayers gained so much momentum and couldn’t stop for the next three years (2018 to 2021). Marine powers were judged, strange and supernatural things took place and the ministry advanced. It was within this 3years of sustained prayer and word fire that God instructed His hand maiden to build 100 rooms prayer cells for retreatants. The prayer flames drove the project and God made provision. The 100 rooms were dedicated by God’s servants led by Bishop Obi Onubuogu, Bishop Soosthenes Eze, Pst Edwin Biayeibo and so many other servants of God. Today the prayer cells accommodate prayer pilgrims coming from across the nation of Nigeria. This has proven the word of the Lord spoken to Balak for Israel sake saying “God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent; Has he not said and shall he not do it? Or has he not spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Amen.

12. PROPHETIC DELIVERANCE OVER AFRICA

While the sustained prayer went on, COVID struck the world. As it ravaged the developed nations, some people openly declared that Africa will experience massive deaths on the streets as a result of poor medical resources. God used Dr. Deborah Akachukwu to make brutal prophetic decrees for the exemption of Africa and Nigeria from COVID massacre. The Lord confirmed those words and frustrated the tokens of liars. While physical religious group meeting was restricted because of the COVID, Gods servant and the mountain dwelling army kept the altar on fire daily for the deliverance of the nations from satanic raid through COVID. Africa escaped and survived to the Glory of God, Amen

13. MEDIA AND ONLINE STREAMING

During the COVID onslaught, the ministry moved live into the air space. The Media department was upgraded which enabled the live streaming of messages and prayers by God’s servant through the already existing Facebook and YouTube platforms. These platforms have given wings to the revival messages and prayers from the vision into the nations of the world.

14. THE ROAD THROUGH THE ROCK

As intercession continued nonstop, God’s servant came up with another mind boggling project, to cut through the rocks and construct a tared road that will run from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. It was incredible but possible with God. The project took of 2021 and was amazingly completed that same year. Today cars can drive up the top most mountain to the honour of the word of the Lord. Amen.

15. LIGHTINING THE ENTIRE MOUNTAIN

The Revival city prayer camp was designed to run 24 hours a day. Pilgrims pray at any time of the day and night. There is no day or night without individuals or groups praying on the mountain. The need for sustainable light system became a pressing need. God who dwells in Light made it possible to have solar panel run throughout the entire mountain. Solar street lights were also installed. The entire mountain became lighted day and night. What an Amazing God.

16. THE WELLS

As construction and activities intensifed in the Revival city, constant water supply was a challenge. Due to the topography of the area, the already existing wells usually recede in the dry seasons. God’s servant kept calling in for water by supernatural means and the wells were reactivated to run all through the year. 3 tanks of 100,000 litres each were installed to feed other smaller tanks to ensure that water is circulated throughout the mountain.

17. THE PERFECTING UNCTION

In 2022, the season of completion of earlier projects came. As the custom of the Lord is, He will always perfect whatever he starts. This grace brought to a glorious completion the 64 rooms accommodation with luxury apartments. It was dedicated on the 17th of April 2022. The 5000 seater capacity auditorium was also completed in 2022. The beautification of the entire mountain with flowers was completed. More toilets and bathrooms were constructed on the prayer camp for prayer pilgrim’s convenience. What a mighty God!

18. THE ZOE CENTRE

In 2022, God spoke to His servant of a coming global and national food scarcity and hardship. She was lead to build a centre for succor called “ZOE CENTRE”. Zoe centre means Life centre! It is the ministry’s outreach base to the poor, sick and needy. The building was started about May 2022 and dedicated in November 2022. At the centre, balanced meals are served as low as #100 a portion against the #500 average cost of a food portion on the streets. Local and conventional meals including snacks and drinks are made available daily.

This centre has assisted prayer pilgrims and retretants to find affordable food when they need to eat. The poor in the in the neighborhood are also beneficiaries to this heavenly benevolence.

19. 50 WEEKS OF GLORY AND OUTREACH

In 2023, the servant of the Lord declared the theme “Back to Bethel” and “2023 my year of Evangelism”. In February 2023, The Lord instructed her to run 50 WEEKS’ OF GLORY. The program presents free feeding, free medical outreach, discipleship class, general bible study, bible quiz and glory worship service. One of the assignments of the 50 weeks’ altar is to bring Gods glory on the East gate and transmit same to the entire nation for peace, tranquility and resistance to the shedding of innocent blood especially as the nation was going through political transition. The program kicked off March 26th, 2023 and happens every Sunday from 2pm till 5pm. It will be completed by April 3rd, 2024. Within 2months of the outreach, the cost of fuel in the nation increase by almost 400%. It meant that the cost of fulfilling this assignment will need a higher provision because food items and every other material cost hiked. God gave Dr. Deborah the wisdom of Joseph in Egypt and she stored food items several months before then.

That became the miracle of sustaining the vision. Over 1000 persons have benefitted from the free feeding and medical outreach. Free transportation is also provided for all that have need. As the people are mobilized into the program, they encounter salvation, healing of their souls and body and provision of food. God remains faithful.

20. VISION RESTORED

In July 2023, God began to move Deborah Akachukwu to bring back Pain to Purpose program which was held last in 2018 (being the 13th edition). She immediately obeyed. The 14th edition was held in two batches – 25th July, 2023 with theme “No more Limits” and 26th to 28th October, 2023 with theme “End of Restrictions”. It was a national and international program. People jammed the auditorium to full capacity on the 25th July and worshipped from evening till the break of the next day. The fathers of faith in the city came, men and women of God were present. Gospel music ministers like Chioma Jesus, Dunsin Oyekan and others brought the rivers of worship that opened the heavens over the meeting. The 2nd edition will host Rev. Funke Adetuberu (a servant of God skilled in psychological healing), Minister Elijah Oyelade. Min. Peterson Okopi, Mr. M and Revelation and others servants of God.

21. THE ELIM REVIVAL BIBLE STUDY AND HEALING SCHOOL

Towards the end of September 2023, the burden to raise a generation rooted in the word of God became overwhelmingly strong for God’s hand maiden. As the Lord gradually brought the building project season to a stay, the need to build men who are deeply grounded in the word of God and prayer was expedient. This led to the flag off of 70 days’ intensive word study called “Elim Revival Bible Study and healing School”. Elim bible Study is an offshoot of the WIN BIBLE CLUB vision. The goal is to dig the depths of the rivers of revival through word study and prayer (Exodus 15:27). The bible study runs in the day while prayer and healing school takes place in the night. The first batch kicked off 1st October 2023 and will round off December 10th, 2023.

22. ALL GLORY TO GOD

What can we say! This is the Lord’s doing and it is so marvelous in our sight. God has strategically placed Revival City (a camp for the Revival Army) at the East Gate which is the alpha City to continuously watch and open up for the move of God at different seasons. We have witnessed and testified to the role of this vision to the various waves of revival in the body of Christ across the nations. The daily 5am commanding the morning that has held for over 10years in the Revival City Camp activated Early morning prayers across the churches; the WIN Bible Study network triggered a move for more attention to Bible Study in churches; the monthly Altar of Worship sparked off Worship Revival across the cities and nations. The revival of Children and Youth Ministry was catalyzed by the WIN BIBLE CLUB which was used by God to release transformative flames of revival on over a hundred thousand (100,000) children cumulatively, who are now at various spheres of influence as professionals, doing exploits for God.

The feeding and medical outreach is lighting the same re across the cities presently. Quite remarkable to note is the vision God gave His servant – Dr. Deborah of a massive wave of revival coming into Abuja, Nigeria. As prayers continued, we witnessed the flames of fire sweep through Abuja within the past 3 years as revival gospel centers increased in the city capturing the younger generation for God. We trust God for the multiplication and transportation of this fire through the northern region of Nigeria and beyond. It’s been quite amazing what the Lord has done in few years of obedience to the vision. The transformation of lives and destinies and the entire ministry has been phenomenal. It could only be by the power of God. Today, the ministry’s presence in Iva valley land has made a once dark, dreaded and deserted region become a sought after land. The land in this region appreciated from less than a million naira to 25million naira per plot within a short time

God has raised Dr. Deborah Macfoy Akachukwu as a prophetic voice at the East gate of Nigeria for the nations of the earth. She has received unquantifiable support from her family and destiny connections. Her ever loving husband, Dr. Tony Macfoy Akachukwu, her children, Odera, Ebube and Divine; her siblings and extended family have been God’s best gift to her and the ministry. The Lord has enabled her team – the Revival Army and other ministry partners to support this vision thus far. And now to the King Eternal, King Immortal and King Invisible, the only Wise God, Eternal Rock of Ages, the brook that never dries, fountain of living spring, Ancient of days, impossibility specialist, the man of War, and the soon coming King be all the Glory, honour, power, splendour and majesty forever and ever, Amen!
