Prayer Focus: Sin no More.
Scripture: John 8:11-12
[11]She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
[12]Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Introduction.
True freedom comes When you start walking in the light of Christ. Sin brings bondage and blindness, it entangles you with the yoke of bondage, whereas the light of Christ brings freedom and life. When you submit and follow the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the light of His presence keeps you above reproach,shame, disgrace, failure and stagnation. The key to total freedom is total surrendering of your spirit, soul and body on the cross, thereby living a consecated life. A life not consecrated will fall back to the snares of the devil. So therefore if Jesus has set us free Let us walk in the light as He is in the light.
4 Things that sustains consecration.
- Knowledge of the Word of God. Psalm 119:9
- Determination: Daniel 1:8
- Fasting and Prayer. Matthew 6:16; 26:41,mark 14:38, Luke 21:36
- Focus. Colossians 3:2, psam57:7
- Holyspirit. Zechariah 4:6
Prayer Point.
- Eternal Father, we magnify your holy Name, Almighty and everliving God.
- Faithful God, we thank you for the great and mighty things you have done in our lives and families.
- Oh Lord, we thank you for the great deliverance you have wrought in our midst.
- Oh Lord, we thank you for your right hand of protection upon our lives and families.
- Oh Lord, cause me to dwell in your presence all the days of my life.
- Mighty God, Let the entanglement and yoke of sin, broken, in Jesus mighty name.
- Oh Lord Jesus,help me to Walk in your light.
- Oh Lord, give me the hunger and passion to live for you all the days of my life.
- Oh Lord, give me the appetite for prayer and fasting.
- Oh Lord, enable by your spirit to live for you.
- Oh Lord, help me to seek your face and to focus on the things of the kingdom.
- Thank you Father for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name.
