Prayer Focus: Dealing with re-occurring battles.
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 3:3
[3]But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Introduction.
When battles are not completely won, there are tendency for it to re-occur. These are the battles that will not allow you to be established and Live in peace. Some of these battles originated from the ancient times but because it was not handled properly, they keep re-occurring after many years. The Amalekites that Joshua did not destroy completely, met with Saul and yet Saul did not destroy it completely, they also met with modecai and Esther and almost destroyed them, Why? Because the More they linger the stronger they become. So many are fighting battles that are existing already before you were born, though it was handled but it was not completely dealt with. Until you completely destroy and overcome this battles, it will not allow you to be established.
How to identify re-occurring battles.
1. It tends to dominate your space.
2. It tends to terminate your existence.
3. There are similarities in the past experience and in the present.
4. They attack your establishment, increase and expansion.
How to overcome them.
1. Dwelling in the presence of God. Exodus 17:9,
2. Total obedience to the word of God. 1 Samuel 15:22.
3. Fasting and prayer. Esther 4:16.
Prayer Point.
1. Mighty living God, we bless and magnify your holy Name for there is none like unto thee.
2. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the great victory you given us.
3. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for breaking the stronghold of the enemy.
4. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the deep mercies you have shown us.
5. Oh Lord, arise and fight our battle.
6. Any re-occurring battle in my life, your time is up, be destroyed from your roots, in Jesus mighty name.
7. Oh Lord, arise and destroy the source of re-occurring battles in my life and family, in Jesus mighty name.
8. Every battles that will not allow my feet to be planted in the house of God, receive divine judgement, in Jesus mighty name.
9. Every power resisting my establishment, advancement and expansion, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
10. Let the plot of the wicked to destroy my life and family, be reversed, in Jesus mighty name.
11. Evil decrees made concerning my life, be cancelled by fire, in Jesus mighty name.
12. Thank you Father for answered prayers, in Jesus mighty name.
