Prayer Focus: Dealing with Opposition
Scripture:
Nehemiah 4:3-4
Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:
Introduction:
Opposition comes in different forms and angles, one can be greatly opposed in his family, church, environment, office, business, etc. Opposition can also come in form of oppression, when you are being oppressed not to achieve your destiny, career, goal, etc, it can be very difficult for you to succeed in that which you set out to do. But when you cling to God while facing the opposition, victory is assured.
WAYS TO OVERCOME OPPOSITION
- Trust and believe in God with all your heart,
- Watch and pray always (Nehemiah 4:9, 1Peter 5:8).
- Be determined, remain focused, and refuse to quit. (Nehemiah 4:6)
PRAYERS TO DISMANTLE OPPOSITION
- Lord, I worship and exalt your holy Name for you alone deserve the glory.
- Thank you lord Jesus for the gift of life, thank you for the divine provision, thank you for all your wonderful works upon my life and family.
- Let your mercy oh Lord, prevail over my life and family in Jesus name amen.
- According to your word oh Lord, have mercy on me and deliver me from all forms of opposition.
- Heavenly Father, arise and dismantle every opposition set on my way to frustrate my progress in life in Jesus name amen.
- Jehovah Gibbor, take me to that place of safety that I will be free from oppression and opposition in Jesus mighty name amen.
- Thunder of God, locate and scatter every opposition of the enemy standing on my pathway to success in Jesus name amen.
- By the power in the name of Jesus, I decree let my oppressors/opposers feed on their own flesh amen.
- Jehovah Gibbor, let those who oppose me, my destiny, my ministry, my marriage, my career, etc. Be drunk with their own blood in Jesus mighty name amen.
- I decree and declare every obstacle, hindrance, and opposition be removed in the name of Jesus amen.
- Let the light from your mighty presence scatter and shatter the plans and activities of my opposers in Jesus name amen.
- Thank you Father for answered prayers, in Jesus mighty name.
