Prayer Focus: Divine Mercy
Scripture:
Psalms 136:1
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Introduction:
The compassionate treatment the Lord shows us, even though we don’t deserve such, yet in his infinite mercy choose to forgive and be kind unto us. It is because of His mercy that we are still breathing, for His mercy are new every morning, and His compassion they fail not. So it’s not of him that wills nor of him that runs but of God that shows mercy. It’s His mercy that keeps you going even when your strength fails you. His mercy is one of the advantages we have in this life and if you make good use of it, you will surely fulfill your divine purpose here on earth. For we are saved not because of our righteousness but because of His mercy.
What qualifies you for divine mercy.
- You must have the fear of God. Luke 1:50, Psalm 103:13
- You must be merciful to others. Matthew 5:7, 2 Samuel 22:26.
Prayer Point.
- Oh God of heaven, the ever merciful Father, we bless your holy Name.
- Faithful God, we thank you for your faithfulness and love you have shown us.
- Oh Lord, we thank you for the great and mighty things you have done in our lives in This season.
- Oh Lord, arise and let your mercy speak for Us.
- Oh Lord, be merciful unto us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Oh Lord, show us your mercy and shower your grace upon us.
- Oh Lord, by your mercy, scatter the plot of the wicked against us.
- Oh Lord, by your mercy Let the evil structure of wickedness raised to limit is, be dismantled, in Jesus mighty name.
- Oh Lord, show me your mercy and deliver me from the insurrection of the enemy.
- Oh Lord, by your mercy Let the imaginations of the wicked, be aborted, be aborted by fire, in Jesus mighty name.
- Oh Lord, let your eyes of mercy be upon me in Jesus name.
