Prayer Focus: Not Forsaken
Scripture:
Isaiah 49:14-16
[14]But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
[15]Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
[16]Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Introduction:
Many people are still in motion but the wine has finished. They are doing the work but the spirit, passion, and zeal is no longer there. There are many who still go to church, preach, evangelize and even win souls to the kingdom but in their hearts, they say the Lord has forsaken them, they have lost hope of salvation, because of the situation they are in. Hear the word of the Lord, it is not in the character of God to forsake His people. For all who put their trust in Him shall not be put to shame.
How to overcome Doubt and Anxiety.
- Rely on God and His promises. 2 Corinthians 1:20, Isaiah 26:3-4, Hebrew 6:18-19,1 Peter 5:7
- Avoid toxic and ungodly men. Romans 16:17
- Earnestly desire a fresh encounter with Psalm 63:1-2
- Daily read, study and meditate on the word. Joshua 1:8.
- Fasting and prayer. Matthew 17:20-21.
Prayer Point.
- Holy Father, we bless your holy Name.
- Mighty God, we thank you for your abundant grace and mercy which you have shown us.
- Faithful God, we thank you for the gift of life.
- Oh Lord, let your goodness overshadow my life, in Jesus mighty name.
- Oh Lord, remove every toxic and ungodly men around my life, in Jesus name.
- Lord, give me fresh desire and passion to know you and do your Will.
- Lord, give me unquenchable hunger for your presence, in Jesus name.
- Let my desire be for you oh Lord and take away anything choking my desire, in Jesus mighty name
- Oh Lord, reveal yourself afresh to me, thereby increasing my passion for your will.
- Let the Flesh nature in me hindering the flow of the spirit, be crushed, in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord, keep my eyes fixed on you, let the waves, flood, and strong wind raging to shift my focus, be arrested now, in Jesus mighty name.
- Thank you Father for answered prayers, in Jesus mighty name.
