Prayer Focus: Spiritual Understanding
Scripture:
Ephesians 1:18
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Introduction:
There are access you cannot have unless you have the right knowledge of how things are being done in such places. As a redeemed child of God When you want to have a deeper walk with God, your roots must be Deep; That is you must know the word and have a clear understanding of it concerning your life. The things of the spirit are not obtained by chance, rather it is given to those who understand them. Apostle Paul was crying that the eyes of understanding of the saints in Ephesus should be opened because he knew that they cannot partake in such glorious inheritance if they lack spiritual understanding.
Benefits of Spiritual Understanding.
- It strengthens your conviction.
- It gives you access to the glorious inheritance of the saints in Christ.
- It gives you access to the power of God.
Prayer Point.
- Almighty God, the Father of Glory, may your name be lifted high above every other name.
- Faithful God, that exalted his Word above all his name; let all glory, honour, power, and majesty be unto you.
- Oh Lord, we thank you for your marvelous kindness and love you shown us.
- Father, we thank you for the great mercies you have shown us.
- Oh Lord, open my eyes of understanding, in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, open my understanding so that I might know your word, in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord, remove all things bringing darkness in my Path, thereby causing your light to continually shine in my path, in Jesus mighty name.
- Every scale of doubt and unbelief that is preventing me from seeing the light of the word, fall off from my eyes, in Jesus mighty name.
- Every veil covering my eyes, be removed now, in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord, give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
- Oh Lord, take me beyond the veil, Let me experience the new and living way that was consecrated for us through Christ Jesus.
- Thank you Father for answered prayers, in Jesus mighty name.
