Prayer Focus: Destroying the covering cast
Scripture:
Isaiah 25:7
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
Introduction:
One of the works of the enemy (Satan) is to hinder and truncate the destiny of people and nations by covering them with a Vail and a covering cast so they will not be able to comprehend purpose and fulfill it. It is the mind of God that His people shall be free from every covering hindering them from fulfilling their destiny in life.
Work of the covering cast/veil
- To cover destiny and glory
- To hinder potential
- To limit progress.
- To bring confusion
- To cause blindness
- To introduce fear.
How to remove the covering cast.
- By turning to the Lord ( salvation) . (2 Corinthians 3:16)
- Living in righteousness according to the word of God. psalm 24:3
- Through deliverance Prayer. Obadiah 1:17
- Through fasting: Matthew 17:21.
- Through the spirit of wisdom and revelation: Ephesians 1:17-18.
Prayer Point:
- Father in the name of Jesus, we stand to give you all the glory, honour, power and majesty for you alone art worthy to be praised.
- Eternal Father we thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies which you have shown towards us and our families.
- Oh Lord, Let the spirit of wisdom and revelation rest upon my life, in Jesus name.
- Let every covering cast over my life,family, business, ministry and influence be destroyed now by fire, in Jesus mighty name.
- Every stagnation and limitation in my life die to the influence of a covering cast, be crushed now, in Jesus name.
- Every veil causing confusion in my life, be torn to pieces now, in Jesus mighty name.
- Every covering cast and Vail assigned to cover, limit, reduce and truncate my Glory, the Glory of my family, ministry and business, catch fire, in Jesus name.
- Every limitation in my life due to ignorance and blindness be removed by the light of God’s Word, in Jesus mighty name.
- Every power, spirit or personality standing as a veil to cover my destiny, your assignment is over, move out of my life now, in Jesus name.
- My Glory, that is covered, manifest now, in Jesus mighty name.
- Let the light of Christ disperse every darkness causing delay and backwardness in my finances,marital Life, Academics and ministerial life, in Jesus mighty name.
- Thank you Father for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name.
