PRAYER FOCUS: ONLY BECAUSE OF THE LORD

PRAYER FOR 120 DAYS TARRY FOR GREATER GLORY:

Psalms 124: 1-6
if it had not been the LORD, who was on our side, now may Israel say, if it had not been, the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us. Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul . Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

INTRODUCTION
It is good to remind the LORD of all his deliverances, upon our lives, especially when it was unmerited. For when all the odds were against us, He made us to come through. When the enemy came with strong reasons against us to destroy us because of our filthy garments, the same LORD rebuked him, for our sakes. O bless the LORD, O my soul and forget not all these benefits of His.

THE PURPOSE OF REMEMBRANCE.

  1. Strengthens your faith and trust in God.
  2. The Lord is blessed when He is appreciated.
  3. It removes murmuring and gloominess from us.
  4. It gives us inner peace and strength in the inner man.

WHY WE SHOULD REMEMBER

  1.  Because of the battles ahead,
  2. Because temptations and enemies strategies are common or the same.
  3. Because God’s deliverances are the same yesterday and forever.
  4. And to know that victory comes from God and not by our strength.

PRAYER POINTS.

  1. Thank you, Father, for the gifts of unmerited mercies upon my life.
  2. Thank you, LORD, for the deliverance you granted me and my family.
  3. Thank you, Father, for not allowing the flame to kindle against me nor the waters to overwhelm me.
  4. Thank you, Lord, for all the safe routes I have passed in these evil times.
  5. Thank you, Lord, for not removing me from this world, but keeping me rather from evil.
  6. Father, be thou blessed above all and let your dominion be filled with your train of glory.
  7. Father, in the name of Jesus, I plead for more angels for the days ahead.
  8. My Father and my God, I entrust my body, soul and spirit into your able hands.
  9. Lord Jesus, I command, through thy glorious name, that all principalities and powers be made subject to your lordship now.
  10. My Lord and my God, I command every door of my life to be closed against my enemies – in Jesus name.
  11. O Lord, Let everything that the enemy has declared and pronounced against my life be canceled right now – in Jesus mighty name.
  12. Father, I thank you for the answered prayers and for the help of your countenance – in Jesus name.
