PRAYER FOCUS: DEFEATING THE SERPENTINE SPIRIT .
PRAYER FOR 120 DAYS OF TARRY FOR GREATER GLORY:
Isaiah 27:1
“In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.”

INTRODUCTION:
Serpents are creatures of deception that are cursed from the very beginning of creation. It is the spirit that stole the dominion mandate of man by deceiving the woman. Serpents are known to swallow their kind (Moses serpent and the Egyptian serpent). From the Book of Job the word of God declared that every thing that has been swallowed shall be vomited. This also confirms that there are powers that swallow riches and blessings ( serpentine). They are closely related to the marine spirit/leviathan…They oppress their victims and render them useless.
WHAT ARE THE OPERATIONS OF THE SERPENTINE SPIRIT ?
- Swallowing up people’s blessings. Job 20:15
- Attacking their victims: Ecclesiastes 10:8, Exodus 22:7-8 Amos 9:3, Jeremiah 8:17
- Strangle their victim.
- Inject them with poison: Psalm 140:3, Psalm 58:4, Deut 32:33, Deut 32:24 .
WHAT GIVES THEM ACCESS TO ATTACK.
- Sin. Ecclesiastes 10:8
HOW TO DESTROY THE SERPENTINE SPRIT - By prayer and fastings ( Mark 9:29 )
- By slaying them with the sword of the Spirit ( Isaiah 27:1* )
- By declaring the written judgement on them.( Psalm 149: 7- 9 )
- By casting them into the consuming fire, ( Acts 28:5 )
PRAYER POINTS:
- Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your awesome goodness and kindness towards us.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the great deliverance you have wrought in our midst.
- Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner, we thank you for victories you have granted us over powers of darkness.
- Mighty living God, let your mercy speak in our lives and families.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray you to wash us from every sin that has given the serpent an opening to enter and bite us.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, let your fire destroy all serpentine kingdoms that have been assigned to destroy our blessings.
- Let every serpentine power that swallow blessings and fortunes that have been assigned to swallow our blessings be arrested and destroyed by fire – in the name of Jesus.
- Let every human vessel working for the serpentine kingdom be exposed, disgraced and frustrated – in Jesus mighty name.
- Father, we release the sword of the spirit to cut to pieces every serpent assigned to torment our lives.
- Father, arise and scatter the gathering of the wicked – in Jesus name.
- O Lord, release your angels to cut the heads of the pythons that have risen to afflict us.
- Thank you, Father, for answered prayers – in Jesus name.
