UNDERSTANDING THE MID-DAY

All through the three divisions of the day, which is the morning, the afternoon, or evening then the night. It is only the morning and night times almost everyone takes time to review and maybe perhaps pray about it, but little or no attention is always given to the mid-day; which is also as important to understand that the three divisions of the day are equally important. The mid-day is the link between the morning session and the night session, which means the afternoon hands the efforts, labours, and achievements of the morning to night. It is always known that the mid-day is insignificant to most Christians, but that does not sum it up as what it looks like. The Afternoon session runs from mid-day to evening. Strategic things occurred at these times in the Bible. For instance, Elijah offered the sacrifice and prayer at 6:00 pm to bring down the fire of God which also lead to the revival of the Israelites; Elijah was also caught up during this session of the day; Jesus was taken up to the throne of God during this session of the day.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MID-DAY

  1. It is a session for work and duty.
  2. It involves a lot of activities both spiritually and physically.
  3. It is the busiest time for men, which means grace is released at noon for complex living, works, responsibilities, and actions.
  4. It pulls the strength out of men and women and also ushers into the environment to work.
  5. It is a time of work and labour, it is the most active session of the day.
  6. Angelic visitation occurs at mid-day. (Acts 10:3,17)

 

BENEFITS OF WORKING AT MID-DAY

  1. You will yield more result
  2. You will have the privilege of working with light ie everything will be clearly seen and open. (John 9:4)
  3. You will be able to earn more and bring in more fruits for your family other than staying idle (1Timothy 5:8)

 

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MID-DAY.

  1. Father, I bless your Name for who you are and for what you have done for us. (Psalm 104:34)
  2. Lord I establish your praise in the heavens on high, I worship you for your awesome beauty and loving-kindness towards all that you have made.
  3. Father, I declare that I will not labour in vain.
  4. I will not sow and another will uproot it untimely.
  5. I declare that I will not plant and another will harvest or take up in the name of Jesus. Amen.
  6. Lord, I pray my life will not waste away during the day as I engage with the works of my hands.
  7. Father, I declare the sun shall not smite me by day no matter where I am in Jesus name amen.
  8. Lord, I declare connections with my destiny helpers today in Jesus name amen.
  9. I decree and declare in the Name of Jesus bountiful harvest as I go out to labour today in Jesus name amen.
  10. I will live to declare your awesome powers and mercies upon my life in Jesus name amen.

PSALM 104:22-23 “When the sun rises, they gather together and lie down in their dens. Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening” (NKJV).

  1. Father, I commit my afternoon into your precious hand, my labours and my struggles are anointed with grace and the oil of ease in Jesus name amen.
  2. Let the sun arise and let my strength arise, the mercy and the power of The Holy Spirit rest’s on me in the name of Jesus. Amen.
  3. Every gathering of the enemies against my progress as I work at mid-day be scattered by fire of the Holy Ghost.
  4. Today, as I go out to work, I decree favor unlimited, more grace and anointing to enlarge my coast in Jesus name amen.

ACTS 10:3 “About the ninth hour of the day he  saw clearly in a vision an angel  of God coming in and saying to  him, “Cornelius!”  (NKJV)

  1. Let my spiritual antenna be activated for spiritual activities at mid-day in Jesus name amen.
  2. Heavens over my mid-day work be opened for me in Jesus name amen.
  3. I call forth angelic assistance in my mid-day work and activities, and I decree no more stress, no more limits, no more hindrances and boundaries in Jesus name amen.
  4. I call forth the supernatural light of God to outshine every darkness lurking around my mid-day work in Jesus name amen.

PSALM 91:5-6 “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,  Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday”.(NKJV).

  1. Every arrow of darkness shot against my destiny, my family, my business and my ministry, I send you back to your sender in Jesus name amen.
  2. By the power in the Name of Jesus, I reverse every arrow of death, sickness, set back, misfortune, failure, disappointment shot in the day against my life, my destiny, my family, my business and my ministry amen.
  3. With the Shield of Faith, I shield myself and my family from the fiery darts of the enemy in Jesus name amen. (Ephesians 6:16)
  4. I decree total freedom from every destruction that waits for me at noonday, never again will my efforts and labour be wasted in Jesus name amen.
