THE SPIRIT OF ACCUSATION

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 12:10

  • How to destroy the accusing spirit
  • Intense prayer to silence, disarm and dislodge the spirit of accusation.

 

UNDERSTANDING THE SPIRIT OF ACCUSATION

In our daily life, we come across different kinds of people, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some actually come into your life to find fault, so as to accuse you of what you do not know and can’t even imagine doing. And as we know that behind every physical occurrence there is a spirit behind it. In Revelation 12:10, our eyes are opened to the fact that Satan is the accuser of brethren, as it was evident in the life of Job (Job 1:8-11). Behind every false accusations, one face on the earth realm, satan, and his agents are principally involved. And their aim is to bring down a man from a place of glory and honour. Until the devil sees that individual back in square one he will not rest. We see this continually in the life of our Lord Jesus, even in the lives of so many godly men and women in the scriptures to mention but a few like Joseph, Daniel, Jeremiah, Jacob, David, Mordecai, etc. In our world today, it’s still the order of the day, all this is to defame, disgrace, and dishonour the image of the individual. This has been Satan’s modus operandi. And this is one of the assignments their agents are planted in a system to do. As a child of God you must always be ready to pray them out of your life, family, business, office, ministry, and career. Else they will wreck and cause great havoc to what you have labored for years to build.

THEIR MODE OF OPERATION.

  1. MONITORING: they monitor one’s movement and activity, for this to be achieved they come into your system, family, office as house help, as staff/personal assistant, assistant pastor/associate pastor, friend, prayer partner, etc.
  2. LEADERS/MASTERS: they can operate as your leader as we see the case of Naboth in the Bible in 1Kings 21:1-16, as a boss in office, as a master in business and in government offices, even in the church. You know them when they offer you an ungodly offer and you decline their proposal. This is when they will reveal their true colours.

 

EFFECTS OF ACCUSING SPIRIT

  1. Shame.
  2. Demotion.
  3. Fear.
  4. Distrust.
  5. Hatred.
  6. Bitterness.
  7. Emotional trauma
  8. Depression.
  9. Compromise.
  10. Hardship.
  11. Revenge.
  12. Death.

 

WAYS TO OVERCOME ACCUSING SPIRIT

1) YOU MUST BE SAVED: you must first accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior. Then the peace of God can enter inside of you, the joy of the Holy Ghost will find expression in you, and eventually God’s love will overshadow you.

2) TRUST GOD: Surrender everything to God and believe God to settle every problem by himself.

3) ALLOW THE PEACE OF GOD TO REIGN IN YOUR HEART.

4) MAKE THE WORD OF GOD AN ADDICTION: Read the word of God daily, find joy in searching the scriptures. Always make sure you are in close touch with the word of God.

5) LAUNCH INTO INTENSIVE PRAYER AND FASTING: Go into very serious and earth-quaking prayers and fasting to disarm every principality and power on assignment over your life, family, ministry, business, career, and influence.

 

PRAYERS TO OVERCOME ACCUSING SPIRIT

  1. God of justice and righteousness we bless your holy name, thank you for your goodness unto us and the unseen battles you have fought for us and you are still fighting.
  2. Father show us Mercy according to the multitude of your mercies.
  3. Let the voice of my foundation accusing me be silenced by fire in the name of Jesus.
  4. Let the voice of unfriendly friends be silenced by thunder and fire in Jesus name.
  5. Every demonic voice accusing me be silenced forever by fire in Jesus name.
  6. Oh lord expose every masked accuser of my life in Jesus name.
  7. Let every false accuser of my life and ministry receive divine judgment in the name of Jesus.
  8. Let every influential voice accusing my ministry catch fire and be destroyed forever in the name of Jesus.
  9. Let the voice of God reply the accusations leveled against me in the name of Jesus.
  10. Let the accuser of my life go down in Jesus name.

PSALM 109:26-29 “Help me, O LORD my God! Oh, save me according to Your mercy, that they may know that this is Your hand that You, LORD, have done it! Let them curse, but You bless;  When they arise, let them be ashamed,  But let Your servant rejoice. Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own  disgrace as with a mantle”.(NKJV)

  1. Father disappoint and disgrace the accusers of my life, family, ministry, business, influence in the name of Jesus.
  2. Oh Lord scatter the gathering of false accusers in the name of Jesus.
  3. Oh Lord expose and disgrace every agent on assignment to bring false accusations in my life, family, ministry, business and influence in the name of Jesus.
  4. Let every evil spirit sent on assignments against me catch fire in the name of Jesus.
  5. I terminate every assignment given to the accusers of my destiny by fire in the name of Jesus.

PSALM 118:6-7 “The LORD  is on my side, I will not fear. What can man do to me? The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me”. (NKJV)

  1. I confuse the language of the accusers in the name of Jesus.
  2. Let humiliation and public disgrace be the portion of anyone who has risen to accuse my life and destiny in the name of Jesus.
  3. I silence every demonic anointed influential voice speaking against me by thunder and lightning in the name of Jesus.
  4. Every opposition to my progress, that have lifted their voice to accuse me, be paralyzed by thunder and lightning in the name of Jesus.
  5. Every personality sponsoring my accusers, go down by fire in the name of Jesus.

PSALM 118:8-10 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. All nations surrounded me,  But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them”. (NKJV) 

  1. I paralyzed and frustrate the efforts of my accusers in the name of Jesus.
  2. Let every altar backing them catch fire and burn to ashes in the name of Jesus.
  3. Let their evil priest ministering for them fall down and die in the name of Jesus.
  4. Let their enchantment and spell be destroyed by fire in the name of Jesus.
  5. Let their pronouncement come upon their head in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Father for silencing the voice of the accusers in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Father for giving me victory over accusing spirit in the name of Jesus.Amen.
