POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

 TEXT: Rev 12:11; Exo 12:13; Lev 17:11; 1Pet 1:2; Heb 13:20-21; 10:19; 9:14; Eph 1:7; Mat 26:28

INTRODUCTION

Men have treasured so many things in life to be precious and powerful. But at the end, they discovered the futility of the things they treasured. On the contrary, the things which we can treasure as powerful and precious are those things which God has declared to be so. What God values as precious we should as well value. The blood is very powerful because God Himself considered the blood as a carrier of life. Lev 17:11 says “for the life of the flesh is in the blood”

 

WHAT MAKES THE BLOOD POWERFUL

  1. ESTABLISHMENT OF COVENANT

The blood is so powerful, that God uses the blood for the establishment of covenant God established a new covenant with us through the shedding of the blood of Jesus. In the days of Noah God established a covenant when he made a blood sacrifice. The day Abraham would have sacrificed his son he ended up sacrificing an animal God established a covenant, with him. Through the blood covenants are established.

 

  1. THE BLOOD HAS PROFITABLE COMPONENTS IN IT

Naturally, there are blood components that make up the blood fluid. They are:

  1. Red Blood Cells
  2. White Blood Cells
  3. Platelet and plasma which mainly contain water, ions, proteins, etc

These components made the blood indispensable. Some of these components are either for defense against germs, bacteria and virus or fungi infections or for attack mechanism. For instance the shortage of red blood cell results in anemia while the white blood cells help in controlling the immune system. In the same manner, the blood of Jesus contains spiritual components that made it powerful, precious and viable to meet the requirement of God for man’s redemption. Some of these components the blood of Jesus contains include: mercy, vengeance, healing, deliverance etc.

The mercy of God that saved mankind from the penalty of sin was accessed through the blood of Jesus Heb 9:22. When it was time for God to avenge His people (the Israelites), He used the blood as His instrument of vengeance. Victory is also one of the components of the blood of Jesus. Rev. 12:11, “And they overcome him by the blood of the lamb.

 

  1. THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAKS

Heb 12:24’ “And to Jesus the mediator of the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” The blood of Jesus has voice. When you engage the blood of Jesus over your life, it will speak for you. The voice of the blood of Jesus is louder than the voice of the enemies over your life put together. It is the voice that silences the voice of the accuser in your life.

 

  1. THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS A CLEANSING AGENT

1 JOHN 1:7

The blood of Jesus purges us from all manner of iniquities. When the blood wipes a man’s sin, it’s as though it has never been. The blood of Jesus does not just cleanse us from sins; it also cleanses us from sicknesses and diseases.

 

  1. THE BLOOD OF JESUS GRANTS US ACCESS INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Heb 10:19,22. The blood of Jesus is the gateway into the presence of God. We were separated from God because of sin. Access is the right of entry through the favor of another. Because of Jesus’ shed blood, veil that kept man out of the presence of God was ripped in half providing access to all. All who come to God through the blood of Jesus have the right of entry into His presence.

 

  1. THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS KEY TO ABUNDANCE

When Israel left Egypt the angel of death passed over all who applied the blood to their doorposts. Not only were they delivered from death and the bondage of Pharaoh, they left Egypt with their goods and riches. Exodus 12:35-36: “The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for, so they plundered the Egyptians.”

 

  1. THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS CURSE BREAKER

On the cross, Jesus shed His blood for us. Being hung on the cross, He took over our curses and transferred blessings to us. Gal 3:15 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse law, being made a curse is every one that hangeth on a tree”. Being under the covering us from all manner of curse.

 

HOW TO ENGAGE THE BLOOD

The scriptures revealed three main ways one can effectively engage the blood they include:-

  1. Drinking the blood of Jesus Christ 1cor 11:25
  2. Sprinkling the blood of Jesus Exodus 24:6-8
  3. Pleading the blood of Jesus Christ Rev 12:11

PRAYER BULLETS

  1. Lord Jesus, I thank you for the provision of your blood
  2. In the name of Jesus I terminate every root of sickness in my body through the blood of Jesus
  3. In the name of Jesus let every power obstructing the flow of the blood of Jesus in my life be destroyed.
  4. By the blood of Jesus Christ I nullify the effect of any curse operational in my life
  5. In the name of Jesus let every abnormality with the normal function of my blood and blood parameters be corrected.
  6. I terminate the assignment of any demonic being sent to suck my blood through any means.
  7. In the name of Jesus, I release the wrath of God against every power compromising my immune system by attacking my white blood cells.
  8. In the name of Jesus, I bury every demonic projection into my body by the blood of Jesus.
  9. In the name of Jesus, I provoke the vengeance of God through the blood of Jesus Christ against the personalities of blood/blood related illness/diseases.
  10. In the name of Jesus, I release the life of God into all my organs through the flow of the blood of Jesus Christ.
  11. By the power, in the blood of Jesus Christ I overcome every unending attack/battles of the enemy over my life in the name of Jesus
  12. I engage the voice of the blood of Jesus to speak for me and silence every voice of accusation and condemnation over my life.
  13. Through the power in the blood of Jesus I lay hold on the abundance the Lord has made available for me.
  14. In the name of Jesus, I receive the transfer of all the nutrients in the blood of Jesus Christ
  15. I soak my spirit, soul and body into the blood of Jesus and paralyzed every hold of the devil over my life.
  16. I sprinkle the blood of Jesus all over my life and all that concerns me.’
  17. I resist through the blood of Jesus every manipulation of the wicked over my life
  18. In the name of Jesus, I dismantle the pillar of witchcraft in my life by the blood of Jesus Christ
  19. In the name of Jesus, I suffocate every demonic animal empowered to destroy me or any of my own with the blood of Jesus
  20. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bring a permanent defeat over all manner of household witchcraft and wickedness tormenting my life
  21. By the blood of Jesus, I walk in the realm of divine immunity in the name of Jesus.
