PRAYERS FOR ACTIVATION OF SPIRITUAL SENSES
INTRODUCTION
Spiritual senses are our organs of perception to relate with things in the realms of the spirit. Just like we have our five physical senses which includes Sight, Smell, hear, taste, and touch We also have our spiritual senses by which we make contact with the unseen realm.
Our spiritual senses are not only five like the physical rather they are numerous just that five of them a very dominant and non-negligible and we will limit our walk within the boundaries of these five which also follow up like the physical senses.
Examples of Spiritual Senses.
1 Sight (2Kings 6:15-17)
Vs15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered,
Vs16 Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
Vs17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord , I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
The servant of the prophet could see with physical eyes but after the Prophet prayed for him His Spiritual sight was activated and enhanced and he could see that they had more Army more than there Enemies.
I pray that your eyes be opened that you see the hand of the Lord working wonders for you in Jesus name.
- Hearing (Isaiah 6:8 )
Vs6 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
By this scripture, we see that God has given man the ability not just to hear his physical world but to hear also from the unseen realm.
I pray that your spiritual ear be quickened that you will hear and understand the voice of God in Jesus name.
- Taste (Psalm 34:8)
Vs 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
From this scripture, we see again that God has given us an ability not just to taste food and get the best of it but also we have an ability to taste spiritual things whether good or bad.
I pray your spiritual organ of taste better sharpened in Jesus name.
Why your Spiritual senses must be activated
So that you will begin to understand the things that God has set for you to know and to walk with to the end that your life here on earth will be friendly.
Ephesians 1:18-21
Vs18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Vs19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Vs20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Vs21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Keys to activating your spiritual senses
1 Praying in the Holy ghost Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
2 Study of the Word of God Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
3 Engaging in spiritual exercises like Fasting, Meditation, Prayer etc
Prayer
1 Father, I thank You for the Gift Of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name
- Father thank you for your mercies that has qualified me for the gifts of the HolySpirit
- Dear HolySpirit fill me afresh today in Jesus name.
- Open my eyes oh Spirit of the Lord to the gift that you have endued me with in Jesus name.
- I receive fresh grace to manifest in Jesus name
- Dear Holy Spirit Sharpen my sight in Jesus name
- Dear Holy Spirit, Give me Spiritual Stature in Jesus name
- Dear Holy Spirit, baptize me with the gift of discernment in Jesus name

Prophetic Declaration
I decree your spiritual eyes open in Jesus name
I command your hearing open in the name of Jesus
I release the spirit of sensitivity into you in Jesus name.
I decree that any fire extinguisher trying to quench your fire is shut down in Jesus name.
I decree that every spiritual stagnation in your life is settled in Jesus name
I release fire upon every cold Altar in your life in Jesus name
