DELIVERANCE FROM SATANIC PIT

TEXT: GENESIS 37:20

INTRODUCTION

The focus of this discourse shall be to understand what:

  1. What are pits
  2. What are satanic pits and the strategy
  3. Its effect on people and finally
  4. The prayers you need to pray for your freedom.

WHAT ARE PITS

Pits can be seen as a large hole in the ground. Pits can be gotten as a result of digging down through the ground in other to make a hole.

Now this hole made on the ground can be used for various purposes, either for Dumping of refuse, traps or in search of water to make a well

 

WHAT ARE SATANIC PIT

Satanic pits are spiritual pits dug by the enemy for the sole aim of achieving their wicked and deadly plans on the children of God. The bible says, in Psalm 7:15 that the wicked had dug a pit but he shall fall into it. So the scripture has revealed that the enemy digs pit for the children of God. And these are the pits referred to as satanic pits.

This strategy is one of the devil’s most strong and widely used armour or weapon amongst his arsenal. And the enemy uses this weapon in so many strategies to afflict the lives of God’s children.

 

STRATEGIES OF SATANIC PIT

The enemy has quite a number of strategies in which he uses to afflict men of which this satanic pit is not left out. Now with these few experiences that will be spelled out below, you will begin to understand the strategy he uses to bring people into his pit.

 

  1. CONSPIRACY: Gen 37:18 revealed that Joseph’s brothers conspired against him and that led to him being thrown into the pit. So one when begins to sense conspiracy around him, it’s an indication that the enemy has dug a pit for him.
  1. BETRAYAL: A life under betrayal by any means is a sign that there is a pit already dug. The betrayal of Jesus by Judas got Jesus into the pit of death.
  1. ACCUSATION: This is another strategy the enemy uses to send people into his pit. Prophet Jeremiah was accused and that led to him being thrown into the pit.
  1. LONELINESS: Emptiness and loneliness in one’s life is a sign of a life that is heading towards falling into satan’s pit. The moment the devil starts distancing you from the company of brethren, then it’s an indication that he has dug a pit for you.

 

THE EFFECTS OF SATANIC PIT

  1. Delay.
  2. Limitation.
  3. Missing of opportunity.
  4. Your life will be filled with garbage. A pit is a place where refuse are been disposed.
  5. Rejection.
  6. Spiritual imprisonment.

 

HOW TO BREAKOUT

Prayer is the key. (Acts 16:23-28)

PRAYER FOCUS

  1. Father in the name of Jesus I thank you Lord for unveiling the strategies of the devil to me
  2. In the name of Jesus I stand upon the word of God in Isaiah 54:15 to command every gathering against my life to push me into the pit to scatter now
  3. Those that have dug pit for me I command you to fall into your own pit in the name of Jesus (Psalm 7:15).
  4. Deliver my soul oh Lord from the Satanic pit in Jesus name (Psalm 30:3)
  5. Every trace of the effects of satanic pit in my life your time is up expire in the name of Jesus
  6. I Jump out from every satanic pit I may have fallen into now in the name of Jesus
  7. I refuse to be caged, I refuse to be delayed, I refuse to be handicapped in the name of Jesus therefore oh earthquake of the Lord deliver me from this dungeon in Jesus name.
