DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF IGNORANCE

DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF IGNORANCE

What is IGNORANCE?

The condition of being uninformed or uneducated. Lack of knowledge or information. The major disaster of ignorance lies Heavily on the abuse of things and taking of things for granted. “The greatest sin is not committing evil, but living in ignorance and also committing sin”-Dr. Deborah Macfoy Akachukwu.

The moment anyone is yoked with ignorance, the person tends to overlook important matters that are available and that can even help such person out of troubles.

Hosea: 4 vs. 6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me:  seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”. According to the first lines of the scriptures above, the Lord said “His people perish because they lacked knowledge and it was because they rejected it when it was offered” this is a terrible situation for some believers; they are still God’s children, the sons and daughters of the all-knowing God, filled with the Holy Spirit and are speaking in other tongues; but yet they can perish. The force of ignorance is so intense that it will not allow you to discover the closest appearance of knowledge available around you. It seems to conquer your heart, soul, mind, consciousness, intelligence, and smartness; some are also ignorant of their ignorance; which makes the whole matter more difficult to proffer a perfect solution to.

Look at this Hosea: 6 vs. 4 “O  Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away”.

This is like a lamentation from the Living God, He was calling Judah and Ephraim regarding to the fact that they are sitting on a slippery pavement that can easily push them off.

Hosea: 6 vs. 6 “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings”.

God is not pleased when there is a lack of knowledge. He gets upset at ignorance; because it can lead to so many casualties. Therefore today as we begin to pray, let the spirit of IGNORANCE be uprooted from our lives in the next of Jesus. Amen.
